Frodiq

Questions we are actually asked.

Short answers. Where the answer is no, it says no.

What does Frodiq cover?

Frodiq connects transaction monitoring, official-list sanctions screening, alert and case investigation, management reporting and team training in one bilingual workspace.

It helps your team detect, investigate, decide and preserve evidence. The accountable judgement and regulatory obligation remain with your organisation.

How long does onboarding take?

Days rather than months, and we do it with you rather than handing over a manual.

Standard onboarding covers a CSV of your customers and transactions and mapping that data to the product's fields using a template. Additional operating entities, custom integration or a migration from another system are scoped and quoted separately.

Does Frodiq replace our MLRO?

No. It supports the MLRO and the compliance team, and it is built on the assumption that a person decides.

Every consequential action — a disposition, a case closure, a filing — is taken and recorded by a named person in your organisation, and consequential closures require a second approver. Frodiq raises alerts, shows the evidence behind them, and keeps the record. It does not judge anything.

Which sanctions lists exactly?

Nine machine-readable restriction files from eight official authorities: OFAC SDN and Consolidated, EU, UK, UN, Australia DFAT, U.S. ITA trade controls, New Zealand's autonomous Russia sanctions register, and France's autonomous national asset freezes.

Each is downloaded from the publisher directly, versioned on import, and shown with its version and the publisher timestamp where the file carries one. Where it does not, Frodiq labels the import time instead of inventing freshness.

A screening result records which lists it consulted and at which versions — that record is stored with the screening rather than reconstructed afterwards.

Do you cover PEP and adverse media?

Frodiq offers a separate, optional public-source check for current public office, official negative events, legal-entity identity and linked-news discovery. Each result names its source, date and limitation.

It is not a complete licensed PEP or adverse-media database, and a no-result response is never clearance. Declared PEP status remains a client-provided control input that affects priority and case handling.

A commercial data licence remains the future route to broader global PEP, relationship and curated adverse-media coverage.

How good is the Arabic support?

Arabic is first-class in both directions, not a translation layer over an English product.

Every screen exists in Arabic and English, right-to-left is a genuine mirror rather than a flipped layout, and both languages are acceptance criteria for every change we ship — measured on the rendered page rather than in the string files.

Screening matches Arabic names in their own script as well as through transliteration and spelling variants, so an Arabic query and a Latin listing of the same party meet.

Are there per-seat charges?

No. Your whole compliance team is included — analysts and read-only auditors alike — because charging per seat discourages exactly the thing a compliance function should do, which is give more people visibility.

Train has a learner allowance per band, since training touches staff beyond the compliance team.

Can we start with one module?

Yes. Monitor, Screen and Train are sold separately, and the Suite bundles all three at less than their combined price.

Most firms start with the module covering their most immediate obligation and add the others later. Moving from a single module to the Suite does not require a migration.

What is the guided pilot?

A free thirty-day guided trial in a private workspace, using agreed data and the modules you want to test. No card is required.

We help your team configure the workflow and read the results. At the end, you decide whether to continue on a paid plan.
